3 Reasons to Offer a Membership Program

Lately there’s been a lot of buzz about offering
a membership program to your clients. There are lots of benefits to making a
membership program available and yet, there are many obstacles in starting one.

Let’s start with the benefits. The top
three are:

  • Viable solutions
for your customers at a very affordable price
  • Ongoing and
    sustainable revenues for you
  • Outstanding up
sell opportunities that are a win/win for you and your members

Benefit #1
to the incredible time constraints most professionals have, people are more
willing than ever to pay for a solution to what keeps them awake at night. However,
to avoid more information overload, many people prefer the information be
spread over a period of time in order to pace themselves.

They want the step by step process that
allows them to implement the information in a way they are more likely to use
it. Whether the solution is how to address elder care issues, train a dog,
build a business, get in great shape, eat healthy, write a book, or just about
anything a membership program offers an affordable solution.

6 steps to money saving outsourcing

Far too often solopreneurs try to do everything
themselves in their business. There is a misguided train of thought that if you
do all the work yourself you are saving money. The fact is you may be costing
yourself and your business if you try to be a “Jack/Jill of all trades”.

Granted, when we first start out, it may be necessary
to do many tasks that at some point we will be able to afford to outsource.

A primary reason not to do everything yourself is there
are some things you are really not qualified to do. For example, I do no design
work in my company. None! The reason is, I am not a designer, and I know the
importance of presenting a professional image.

3 Deadly Mistakes in Your Online Marketing Videos

In the time I have marketed my business by online means things have changed … a LOT! In days past it was pretty simple to get the word out. Email marketing was the primary tool those of us making a living online used. Article marketing was yet another method.

Today email and article marketing are merely two of many promotional methods we use. There are media releases, blogging, guest blogging, forums, social networks, calendar postings and email sig files to name but a few more.

One that has hit big in the last couple of years (more like the last year) is video marketing. Video marketing is by far one of the best tools you can use to market with.

Video allows you to connect more with your market, get your message across in a visual way and increase your search engine optimization. You can definitely increase leads and sell more of your products and services with video. Not only can you sell more product with video, when you know what you are doing you can use video as the product itself.

It doesn't matter if you're a speaker, author, coach or consultant, video is a great marketing tool. No question about it. Yet, there are necessary steps you need to take to be most effective.

Depending on what the purpose of the video is the length of the video (time) will vary. For example, a short – give 'em a tip video – can be very, very effective if it is no more than 1 – 3 minutes. In other cases videos are most effective at 20 or 30 minutes. Do you know what's best for your market?

Are you ready to learn how to make more effective videos? Videos that will get you more leads and help you to sell more of your products and services?

Check out this F-R-E-E video 3 Deadly Mistakes of Online Video that shows you what you need to do to develop effective videos. Click here to access.

Regardless of what you need to learn, you need to learn from people you trust. With the video training you are learning from two of the most reputable teachers around; Mynders and Deb. Beyond a shadow of a doubt they know their stuff.

3 things you MUST know before develop information products

Adding information products
to your revenue stream is likely one of the best choices you can make. There
are many different types of products you can take to market including eReports,
eBooks, teleseminars, podcasts, short term mentoring courses and ongoing group
coaching programs.

The best part of all is
you can repurpose virtually any product into another product to increase your
revenue potential. However, there are some considerations before you begin the
process of development.

To have a successful product
launch the following three criteria must be met.  Choose a topic where…

People are looking for information.

They are willing to spend money on that

You are interested and knowledgeable about
this topic. The more of an expert you are viewed as, the better.

On the first point, if
people are not looking for your type of information, you likely won’t succeed
with it.

On the second point, if
they are not willing to spend money on your report you need to rethink the
topic. After all, aren’t you in the game of product development to make money?

Third, you need to be
somewhat passionate about the topic to keep your own level of interest high. Although
the third point is optional due to your being able to sell affiliate and PLR
products, I recommend it if you are going to stay interested and motivated to
promote your own information products.

You have the option of
choosing something you love or something that is popular. Make The best
scenario is where the topic is something you love AND is popular.

To give you an idea of the
various types of topics people are willing to pay for here is a small sampling.

Marketing a business

Building a coaching practice

Training a dog

Potty training your child

Finding an art agent

Losing weight the easy and safe way

Growing a home-based business

The list goes on and on.
The best thing to do is grab a pen and pad and write down as many possible
topics on which you are qualified to write.

From there, you will take
the next step.

Why some people succeed and others don’t

Most people want success… or so they say. They claim they will do whatever it takes (within their value system) and yet, when the rubber meets the road, an incredibly high number of people put a half hearted effort into what they are doing.

The fact is, success takes effort and it takes work. There’s no other way to say it. Yet, it doesn’t have to be drudgery. It can be a joyful experience where we confront our greatest fears.

A few years ago I went rafting with a group of friends. We were having the time of our life. Around one bend we could see people diving into a deep pool of water.

As a kid I used to love to dive into water. It didn’t matter if it was a swimming pool, a lake, a deep spot in a river or whatever. I loved diving and I loved water.

I told my rafting buddies I was going to jump from the rock. Now mind you, I am in my mid fifties and not the spunky kid I used to be.
