It's extremely exciting what's possible for today's entrepreneur. Nowadays we can create change that years ago was near impossible.

Not only is it possible, it is incredibly needed for you to stand in your truth, your power and your vision.

Many a time, during live presentations, I have been know to say, the world is in a world of hurt. If what you do even remotely heals the minds, bodies, spirits, finances and relationships of your tribe you absolutely must do all you can to get your message out to market.

I do what I do at this time in order to reach as many conscious entrepreneurs as possible to teach them how to get their message out to as many people as possible in order to shift the energy of the planet.

Why do you do what you do? Knowing your why allows you to stay the course.

There is a higher level of consciousness today and people are more willing to have their voice heard. We used to live in silos with what we were able to do, say and impact. Today we can get our message out in a big way due to the power of social media.

Are you willing to step into what you know the truth to be? Or will you live in the shadows, letting time pass you by?

Will you be heard saying, “Someday I will do x, y and z?” Or will you put your stake in the ground right here, right now to make the difference you are here to make?”

The choice is yours. No one is going to give you permission. So quit waiting and do what you are here to do.

Live with passion, courage and vision; right here, right now.

Your time as a leader has arrived. You can live in the shadows or you can't step into your power.

It's time to get your message out. There's no holding back.

The days of, “Who am I to step boldly into what I know I am here to do?” are over. If you are reading this the question you would be well served answering is, “Who am I NOT to step boldly into what I know I am here to do?”

The time has arrived. Your time is here by virtue of the fact that you are right here, right now. Simple as that.

One way we get our message out is with our website. Yet, few have created compelling sites that encourage visitors to spend any significant amount of time on their site.

Optimize Your Efforts for SEO and Visibility

This presentation is to show you how to take one piece of information and re-purpose it into a number of formats to get  a lot of traction online in the shortest period of time with optimal results.

There are three main things you want to look at.

  • The topic
  • The locations
  • The efficiency of what you're doing

You must offer something that is of interest to your market in locations where they “hang out.”

You start by doing a short presentation into something like Dragon or Windows Speech recognition. All you need is some type of inexpensive microphone to do this.

You will need to clean the information up as there are likely to be some glaring mistakes. Once you clean it up you can use as is or if you want to rerecord it with anything you added in for a clean recording.

  • By doing it this way you have your transcripts done immediately.
  • You then turn the transcripts into articles and the articles into blog posts.
  • Post a short description with the permalink onto Facebook and LinkedIn.
  • You take snippets out of the articles/blog posts to create tweets.
  • You can put the main points on slides and upload to Slide Share.
  • You can record a short presentation and create a video to go on YouTube.
  • You can put the audio file up as a Podcast onto ITunes.

If you don’t want to do all the detail work, start with a recording that you send to a VA to transcribe. They then do all the other steps such as creating articles and blog posts, tweets, a SlideShare presentation, a short video to go on YouTube.

All in all, this should take no longer than 20 – 30 minutes. The amount of reach and SEO you will get is beyond anything you likely are doing at this time. However, be sure you know who your ideal client is and what keywords they will be searching on. Otherwise, you may be getting lots of information out to the wrong market. Then your efforts are for naught.

The biggest lie about making money online

One of the greatest misconceptions about making money online is this; the only people making money online are those selling information on how to make money.

Nothing could be further from the truth. Truth be told, there is money being made in virtually every industry. The only reason you don't hear about how MUCH is being made is because there is no reason for someone not teaching people how to make money to be sharing how much they are making.

Revenues are being generated in virtually every industry; dog care, health and nutrition, relationships, divorce, childcare, gardening, photograph, stamp collecting, and car care are a few that come to mind.

However, to generate revenue online there are a few things you must have in place.

1. A functional and inviting website. Presentation is everything. Your website is the first point of entry for most consumers. Is it presentable? Is it easy to navigate? Do you give people a reason to spend time on your site?

One of the best things you can do is provide high value information to your visitors.

2. Do you have something to sell? Duh! This seems like a no-brainer, but I have actually talked to people who complain about not making money online and when I visit their site they have nothing to sell. Really?!?!?!

Okay, maybe you don't want to sell right out of the gate, but is there a convenient way for people to get on your subscriber list?

3. Make the buying process easy. If you are selling on your site make the process simple and easy. Don't make people search for what they want and/or need.

4. Social proof is an incredible tool for generating revenues. Testimonials and reviews work great for selling.

Here's a great example of why the four recommendations above are so important.

A few days ago I purchased a new vehicle. I've had my heart set on this make and model for a few years.

My new car is black and beautiful. I call her Black Beauty.

I want to do everything I can to take great care of the vehicle. I tend to be somewhat of a fanatic when it comes to keeping my vehicles clean.

My goal is to not only keep Black Beauty clean but to make sure I preserve the shiny look for years to come.

Because I know how important having the right information is, I searched out the best way to wash a black car. I came across a site that not only had the step by step process outlined with pictures and a full written description, there were comments by visitors to the site, reviews of various products, and ratings by people who have purchased the products. The site owner made the process for potential clients extremely easy to learn how to wash our automobiles, they also made to process to purchase simple.

They provided a way to get visitors on their subscriber list too. However, it takes more today to get people on your list than simply having “newsletter.” My recommendation for this site would be to offer something of high value in exchange for a name and email address; a 10 point checklist, a short video, discount coupons are only a few of the many enticing items that would likely increase their opt in rate.

Overall, they did a GREAT job. Are you making the process for your visitors one that is memorable to them or just another forgetable site?

Animals hit hard by Hurricane Sandy

In the past, when there was a disaster, it took considerably longer to get the word out about relief efforts. Today, because of social media, word spreads fast.

I usually reserve the posts on my blog for business related topics. Yet, every so often there is something that I know I can help out with by posting about it. day is such a day.

A couple days ago I received an email from a family member who is dong all she can to raise money for the animals directly impacted by Hurricane Sandy. She sent me the following media release and asked me to spread the word in whatever way I could.

Animal rescue is near and dear to my heart. I made a donation and am asking anyone in a position to do so to please help. Any amount helps.

MEDIA RELEASE: People and shelters helping animals affected by hurricane Sandy.

As the northeastern U.S. struggles to cope with the devastation caused by Hurricane Sandy, many pets and other animals have had their lives turned upside-down and are in desperate need of food and supplies.

When the storm hit, many left their homes with only their pets and a few possessions, and have since had their homes destroyed; their lives wiped out. While the Red Cross and other organizations, and individuals, are offering emergency food and other help to Sandy's human victims, the pets and other animals affected aren't so lucky.

Large numbers of people are still without power. Many streets are still closed due to downed trees and power lines. Gas is also in short supply in many areas making it difficult, if not impossible, for shelter personnel and pet owners to travel even short distances for food and supplies for the animals. Local shelters are overloaded with displaced animals and volunteers are working around the clock to help them. Due to the high number of animals and all the work involved in caring for them, many volunteers are sleeping at the shelters.

The Commonwealth Humane Society of Northern Virginia (CHSNV) is an all-volunteer group with facilities, trucks and volunteers at the ready, to act as a main collection point for donations to help these animals. Once received, the items will then be loaded onto trucks and delivered to a shelter in New York, which is distributing to other shelters in New York, New Jersey, Long Island and Staten Island.

Yep! I'm putting pride aside and begging you to dig deep and help the people who have been directly impacted by Hurricane Sandy.

This is not about selling you a product, this is not about the next slick marketing strategy, this is not about anything but asking you to do whatever you can to help those in need.
